Rule of Thirds

I took these through the windshield of my car this morning here in St. Johnsbury. The buildings on each side seem to frame the pictures.

This barn and sunrise is just before getting to Danville village. The barn and horizon follow the rule of thirds.

This wishing well is in my parent's yard, mostly buried in the snow. I think the image that is on the rule of thirds draws more attention to itself.
